How will my insurance premium be calculated?
Premiums are calculated based on a number of factors including:
- The cover level you select
- Your age, gender and smoking status

Does my level of cover increase with inflation?
Yes. Your insurance cover level is automatically increased each year to keep pace with inflation, unless otherwise requested by you.
Will my premiums change?
Yes. Your premiums are re-calculated each year based on your age at each policy anniversary, and any changes in government charges.
Can I pay my premiums monthly?
Yes, and at no additional cost.
How can I find out about my policy updates?
We will confirm your premium at each policy anniversary, in writing to you. You can also call us at any time on 1300 555 625 with any queries.
What is excluded from my Cancer Care and Cancer Care Plus insurance policy?
It’s important to know what isn’t covered under Cancer Care and Cancer Care Plus. For full information on policy exclusions, click here to download the PDS (see page 11).
How can I make a claim?
Should you need to make a claim, simply call us on 1800 221 599 and we will talk you through the process.
I would like to donate more than my 10% premium to the Australian Cancer Research Foundation. How can I find out more?

Who is the product issuer?
Cancer Care and Cancer Care Plus are issued by MetLife Insurance Limited and all enquiries about your cover or claims can be addressed to MetLife on 1300 555 625.
